A gunman, clad entirely in black and armed with a rifle, opened fire—reportedly discharging between 50 to 100 rounds through stained-glass windows into the packed congregation .

Minneapolis law enforcement, alongside federal agencies—including the FBI, ATF and Homeland Security—responded swiftly. By 10:30 a.m., officials confirmed that the shooter had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and that there was no ongoing threat to the community .
