British rapper and Netflix actor Ghetts, real name Justin Clarke-Samuel, has been remanded into custody following a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. The 41-year-old grime pioneer, known for his lyrical prowess and recent role in the Netflix series Supacell, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after allegedly failing to stop at the scene of a collision in Ilford, north-east London.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, tragically died in hospital the same day Ghetts appeared at Stratford Magistrates’ Court. Authorities have confirmed that the charge is expected to be upgraded to death by dangerous driving at the next hearing.
