Her platform, Welcome to Elainethepain’s Podcast, has built a reputation for tackling the raw, uncomfortable truths that many shy away from: systemic racism, colorism, sexism, and the lived experiences of Black women in Britain. But after a wave of mass reports from online detractors, Elaine’s TikTok account was suddenly banned — a move to be observed as yet another example of the platform’s bias against outspoken Black creators.

Elaine isn’t just a content creator — she’s also known for turning her TikTok and YouTube platforms into mini history lessons, boldly calling out racism and reminding audiences that knowing your past is the key to changing the future.

While Elaine’s battle isn’t directly with TikTok, the platform’s decision to uphold the ban even as she continues speaking out on Instagram has become the flashpoint.
