All Angles UK attended the Tipton consultation as officials faced questions over what the proposed housing changes could mean for applicants. Share Sandwell’s housing crisis is forcing the council to consider some of the biggest changes to its housing register in years, and All Angles UK was inside the consultation at Jubilee Park Community Centre in Tipton on Friday, speaking directly with housing officials about what the proposals could mean for thousands of residents. The meeting formed part of Sandwell Council’s public consultation on changes to the way people qualify for, are prioritised for and ultimately allocated social housing. The council’s own figures show the scale of the pressure: the register has risen from around 6,000 households in 2020 to more than 24,000 in 2025/26, while properties available to let annually have fallen from around 1,977 to just 1,268. The Jamaican private chef and digital creator is fighting to recover from serious injuries, prompting a heartfelt plea from loved ones and his online community.
What was meant to be a birthday trip filled with celebration has instead become an ordeal for Jamaican private chef and digital creator Chef Briscoe, leaving his family, friends and hundreds of thousands of followers rallying around him as he remains hospitalised with serious injuries.
In an emotional appeal shared through the verified Briscoe’s Kitchen & Spice Instagram account, his family said the trip was supposed to end with everyone returning home. “Instead, this became their reality,” the post reads, alongside photographs showing the chef receiving medical treatment.

The circumstances surrounding his injuries were not detailed in the information shared, but his family says they are now trying to navigate what comes next and have made a public appeal for support.
Chef Briscoe has built a sizeable online community through Briscoe’s Kitchen & Spice, sharing Jamaican and Caribbean food with an audience of more than 300,000 Instagram followers. Behind those numbers, however, is a man whose loved ones are now asking that the same community which supported his cooking stand beside him during what may be one of the most difficult periods of his life. A fundraising appeal has been launched to help, with his family making their message painfully simple: “We need help. He needs help.”

For those able to contribute financially, even a small donation could help the family as they face the uncertainty ahead. But support does not have to end with money. If you cannot donate, share his family’s appeal. Like it. Comment. Send a message of encouragement. Help their story reach someone who may be able to assist. Sometimes the strength of a community is measured not only by what people can give, but by how many refuse to look away when one of their own needs them.
